In this article, we will go over on how to set or modify your Organization Settings.
To view the Organization Settings on SyncWords Live, click on your profile icon on the top right corner of your screen and then select Accounts from the menu.
From this page, click on the gear icon as shown.
This will take you to your Organization Settings page.
Events Tab
This tab contains settings related to your Events.
Display Time Zone - Set the time zone you want displayed on the Captions Pages of your event.
The time zone in your profile determines the time zone you see on your listing pages and when you create events.
Auto Start/Stop Events - Set or change your event Auto Start and Auto Stop values using the corresponding dropdowns.
Expire event - Choose how long you would like the content delivered to your event’s captions page and widget to be available for after the event is over. Once the event expires the captions pages are no longer available. The maximum value is 120 days. You can also manually expire an event at any time from the event page.
Delay captions - Delay when your captions are delivered. Adding a delay is useful when the captioner is getting low latency access to the source audio but the stream to the delivery platform is being delayed. You would add delay to make sure the captions appearing for your attendees are appearing at approximately the same time they are being spoken.
Hide Event Information - You can hide Event information, such as Title, subtitle, date, logo, and times from the caption page.
Disable Captions Page - When disabled, the Captions Page isn't available, but the widget and other services remain available.
Branding and Styles Tab
Organization Logo - You can upload your organization logo in different formats (PNG, GIF, or JPG). We recommend using a logo that works well with a light background and uses transparency. Maximum logo file size is 2M.
Widget Themes - You can create or configure your widget and save it for your future events. Please click this link to learn how to configure a widget.
Security Tab
Passcode - If you want to limit access to your event you can require users to enter a password before they are granted access to the captions. When you set up the password, the system will ask a visitor for it before allowing them access to the captions page and/or widget. To set up a password, go to the Security tab in your event, enter the passcode you want to use and click the "Save" button.
Disable Event Token Authorization - Turning this on will remove the additional security check offered when using the embed widget on an external website.
